The Central Intelligence Bureau (IB) invites application for the Junior Intelligence Officer/MT and SA/MT, Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2010 & Notifications is given below.
The Intelligence Bureau is reputedly the world's oldest intelligence agency and also recognized as IB. It is used to garner intelligence within India and also perform counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. In 1947, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, it was recast as the Central Intelligence Bureau. The motive for the perception can be due to the fact that, Major General Sir Charles MacGregor was selected as Quartermaster General and for the British Indian Army head of the Intelligence Department at Simla in 1885.
Intelligence Bureau (IB), Government of India had invited applications for the recruitment of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ MT and SA/MT 2010.
Name of the Post: Junior Intelligence Officer/MT
Vacancies: 140 posts
Pay-Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
Qualification: Matriculation passed or equivalent
Age: 32 years
Name of the Post: SA/MT
Vacancies: 48 posts
Pay-Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000
Qualification: Matriculation passed or equivalent, And Should Possess valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) of Motor Cycle.
Age: 30 years
Selection Procedure:
For a test of motor mechanism and driving test followed by an interview the candidate will be called at selected places to be decided by the Bureau.
How to Apply?
Application forms filled up either in English or Hindi only on a plain white paper of size 21 1/2 x 33 cms in the prescribed format should be sent through ordinary posts at the designated addresses. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters as “Application to the post of JIO-II/MT in IB”
