Killzone 3, an upcoming shooter game for Sony PS 3 will be available in 3D features soon. Killzone 3 is developed by Guerrilla Games, a subsidiary of SCE and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Killzone series follow the continuous war between the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (I.S.A.) and Helghast. Jack Tretton, president of Sony Computer Entertainment America confirmed the development of Killzone 3 in an interview with Gametrailers, but yet not announced the officially release date for the game. Killzone 3 follows the events of Killzone series that started on the PS 2, Killzone: Liberation on the PSP and Killzone 2 on the PlayStation 3.
The first detail on Killzone 3 has been revealed by the next issue of U.S. magazine GamePro. The magazine reveals the changes in the structure of the series, together with the first images of this new issue.
The most notable change to the gameplay for Killzone 3 is the inclusion of jetpacks that allow the users to overcome long distances so that would be impossible with a normal jump and attack the enemies. According to the developers, jetpacks offer similar actions “would do in the platforms titles like Super Mario Bros. or Uncharted.”
Killzone 3 will come in 3D mode which requires a TV-compatible 3D glasses, it is the other important development. The player can also play Killzone 3 in 2D televisions. The fight will be like Killzone 2, but the levels will be changed and much greater than in the other Killzone.
