Anna University of Chennai conducted the Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2010 test on the behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for Admissions to M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan Degree Programs in the University Departments of Anna University Chennai.

Status for admission into M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan degree programmes of Anna University, Government/Government aided institutions and self financing engineering colleges in Tamilnadu can be checked online at www.annauniv.edu.

Anna University is a biggest university of Tamil Nadu state, India. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and Allied Sciences. Anna University was established on September 4, 1978 as a unitary type of university. In the city of Chennai, it integrated four technical institutions including the College of Engineering, Guindy, established in 1794, and Madras Institute of Technology, established in 1949, which offered the first engineering degrees in India.
