The MLB playoffs opening round will feature the Texas Rangers vs the Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees vs the Minnesota Twins. The 2010 NLCS will feature the Philadelphia Phillies vs Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves vs San Francisco Giants.
The New York Yankees have won the Wild Card in the American League, even though it considers more like they lost the AL East to Tampa Bay. However, the Bronx Bombers are back in the post-season while over in the National League. The Atlanta Braves have limped in as the Wild Card.
From both the American League and National League, three division winners and one wild card will be eligible for the playoffs. The League Division Series will be one of 5 best games and the League Championship Series and World Series will be best of seven.
